Kristian "k0nfig" Wienecke has opted against re-signing with Complexity Gaming and is close to completing a move to Astralis, Danish website Jaxon reported on Friday.

k0nfig's contract reportedly expires on Jan. 1, 2022.

The 24-year-old Dane currently is nursing a wrist injury that reportedly will keep him sidelined until at least November. Complexity recently signed Marcelo "coldzera" David to fill in for k0nfig.

k0nfig joined Complexity in November 2019 after stints with Team Dignitas, North and OpTic Gaming.

Astralis appears to have just three players secured for action in 2022, namely in-game leader Lukas "gla1ve" Rossander, Lucas "Bubzkji" Andersen and Philip "Lucky" Ewald. Emil "Magisk" Reif, Andreas "Xyp9x" Hojsleth, Peter "dupreeh" Rasmussen and coach Danny "zonic" Sorensen's contracts expire at the end of 2021, per dotesports.com.
