BEIJING, Oct. 28 (Xinhua) -- Chinese Premier Li Qiang and Finnish Prime Minister Petteri Orpo on Tuesday exchanged congratulatory messages on the 75th anniversary of diplomatic ties between the two countries.
Li said that China is ready to work with Finland to take the 75th anniversary of diplomatic ties as an opportunity to continuously carry forward traditional friendship, consolidate and enhance political mutual trust, deepen cooperation in emerging industries such as green transformation, information technology, digital economy, artificial intelligence, new energy and new materials, and build a new pattern of mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries in the new era, so as to better benefit the two peoples.
For his part, Orpo said that since the establishment of diplomatic relations 75 years ago, Finland and China have built a friendly and stable bilateral relationship and have always maintained dialogue.
Highlighting the solid foundation for mutually beneficial economic and trade cooperation between the two countries, Orpo said Finland highly values and looks forward to maintaining close cooperation with China.
